PROJECT
This project studies the influence of the colonies of sea birds on the environment, and specifically the relationship between the colony of yellow-legged gulls in the National Park of the Atlantic Islands (Galicia) with the decline of the plant Armeria pubigera in this region.
The knowledge acquired will help the park managers to decide what actions to take with respect to the new colonies of yellow-legged gulls, in terms of the potential impact on the diversity of flowering plants in dune systems.
