Soledad Córdoba Guardado (Avilés, 1977) is an artist with a PhD in Fine Arts from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Her work can be seen in numerous individual and collective exhibitions around the world in cities including Tehran (Iran); Chicago and Albuquerque (United States); Rome, Naples and Palermo (Italy); Tetuan, Fez, Rabat and Casablanca (Morocco).
PROJECT
The object of her research are the states of the soul, understood through concepts such as transcendence, purification, detachment, resistance, sacrifice and regeneration. Her project ‘Desert: transit through the states of the soul’ will consist of a multidisciplinary exhibition using a variety of artistic languages such as video, photography, installation and drawing, to construct an aesthetic and experimental investigation that involves the idea of the human condition and the poetics of landscape.
