Samuel ArandaSamuel Aranda (Barcelona, 1979) is a freelance photojournalist specializing in the Arab countries and conflict situations, who works for the international media. He a winner of the World Press Photo 2012 award and the National Photography Prize for 2006. He has been covering current events for more than fifteen years in countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen, Colombia, China, Palestine and Sierra Leone, for international media such as the ‘New York Times’, ‘Le Monde’ and ‘El País’.
PROJECT
The aim of this project, aside from any commissions from publishers, is to offer a different vision of Egypt based on an in-depth report on the life of the population of this country through a journey along the Nile.
