PROJECT
Today, much of the basic research in chemistry is focused on metal-catalyzed functionalization reactions on carbon-hydrogen, the most abundant bond in organic compounds.
The aim of this project is to offer a solution to the limitations of the functionalization of a specific type of these C(sp3)-H bonds, so that the reaction can occur selectively in a single synthetic operation, as enzymes do in nature.
