Laura Illia Manzano (Lugano, Switzerland, 1976) is a professor of Corporate Communication at IE Universidad. She has done important research work of international impact that has received numerous awards and recognition.
PROJECT
Her project will study how conversations in the social media influence the corporate reputation of companies, and how corporate issues and attributes have acquired growing importance on these platforms.
In the digital media, not only the traditional media but also individuals may have an influence on what the masses remember about companies, and this may even affect corporate earnings. The results of the study will be applicable in areas as diverse as business administration, journalism and political communication.
