BIO
Kurusch Ebrahimi-Fard (Cologne, Germany, 1973) is a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT) in Madrid. He is developing mathematical methods that can be useful in other sciences and in engineering.
PROJECT
Through the combination of new ideas, results and methods from the area of mathematics and engineering, development of software and biological systems, this project aims to transfer knowledge from an abstract approach to an applied one by integrating recent advances in mathematics, combinatorics and algebra in a context of engineering, so that problems of great importance in the environmental field can be tackled using new, more efficient procedures.
