Juan Aparicio Belmonte (London, UK, 1971) is a novelist with six books published, who has been translated into Italian and French and has won awards such as the Legnua de Trapo and the Semana Negra in Gijón. His work uses a sarcastic and parodic humor, with echoes of detective fiction, urban scenarios and a mixture of social classes.
PROJECT
The proposal he has presented is for a projected novel called ‘La cosa iba en serio’ (Things Were Getting Serious), on the family, social networks and interpersonal relationships in businesses with a social prestige, specifically organic food.
It is a contemporary fable, a novel narrated with elements of fantasy, and including humor, and in which metaliterature will also have an important place.
