José Penalva Zuasti

José Penalva Zuasti (b. 1970, Pamplona, 1970) is a lecturer in the Business Economics Department of Carlos III University of Madrid. His research focuses on the impact of technological innovation on financial markets, and on problems of information and innovation.

This project examines the growing automation of stock-market trading and the importance in it of tick size, i.e. the minimum variation of the price of a share, which is a matter of concern to the stock-market authorities in the United States and Europe.
