Iria da Cunha Fanego

Iria da Cunha Fanego (La Coruña, 1980) is a lecturer and researcher at the University Institute of Applied Linguistics of Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

The main objective of the project is to develop an automated system of assistance for drafting specialist texts in Spanish in relevant areas of Spanish society (health and science, public administration and services), geared to both university students and professionals in these areas, and citizens in general.

This initiative responds to the need detected by the publication of the last PISA 2012 report with negative data with respect to the reading comprehension of Spanish people, which suggests a difficulty at the time of drafting texts.
