Hugo Martínez-Tormo (Valencia, 1980) is a graduate in Fine Arts from Universidad de Valencia.
PROJECT
Martínez-Tormo has created ‘Nano_pigmento’, a research project and artistic creation that studies pigments through the analysis of materials and the data obtained from them on a nanometric scale.
There will be a total of 12 pieces in all, one per pigment, composed of monochrome paint and an audiovisual creation. Martínez-Tormo wants to answer questions, such as what color pigments have at the nanoscale, and what would happen if we were the size of an atom: how we would perceive the world around us and what color matter is at this scale.
