Guillermo Rodrigo Tárrega (Valencia, 1983) is the chief scientist at Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Plantas, an institution answering jointly to the Spanish National Research Center and Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
PROJECT
His project involves the construction of an artificial genetic system that executes arithmetical functions at molecular level to develop bioelectronic interfaces that can give rise to the development of future biotechnological or therapeutic applications, a subject of great interest in the emerging field of biocomputation.
