BIO
Fernando Sánchez-Cabezudo Blasco (Madrid, 1979) has received training as an actor at the Centro de Formación del Teatro de la Abadía, directed by José Luis Gómez and Rosario Ruiz. He has extensive experience as a producer, director and actor in numerous projects such as ‘Mundos Posibles’ (Possible Worlds) and ‘Desmontando a Shakespeare’ (Deconstructing Shakespeare). He is founder and director of the Lozanakubik center in the neighborhood of Usera (Madrid), a space that reflects the increasingly common model of cultural management in European cities, where new emerging cultural nuclei are emerging in industrial zones on the periphery.
PROJECT
His theatrical project ‘Storywalker, historias de Usera’ (Storywalker, Usera Stories) plans a production based on stories that narrate events occurring in the neighborhood of Usera, in which the locals themselves will be responsible for giving form to the stories. The cast will be made up of a combination of professional actors and amateurs who will be chosen from an acting workshop that will be run in Usera itself.
