PROJECT
This project includes the creation of at 90-minute opera ‘Le malentendu,’ based on a text of Albert Camus for 4 singers, an actor, electronics and chamber orchestra. This project proposes an ambitious and innovative use of the relationship between the text, electronics, amplification and instrumentation.
The electroacoustic part will be created in CIRM (Centre National de Création Musicale) in Nice, France, with the assistance of the sound engineer Alexis Baskind. The world premier and subsequent performances of ‘Le malentendu’ will take place from 7 to 12 April 2016 in the Centro Experimental of the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires, directed by the Austrian Walter Kobera.
The opera will receive another run in September 2016 by the Chamber Orchestra of Warsaw at the Warsaw Autumn festival and in February 2017 at the Neue Oper Wien of Vienna.
