Carlos Spottorno

Carlos Spottorno (Budapest, Hungary, 1971) is a graduate from the Fine Arts Academy of Rome with a consolidated career in Spain and abroad.

‘Nuestras fronteras’ (Our Frontiers) is a documentary photographic project on migratory pressures and, in this case, on northern and eastern borders, which complements that carried out by Spottorno from Melilla to Bulgaria.

The graphic series will analyze some of the challenges faced by the European Union and cover aspects relating to the physical entity of borders.

The graphic material selected will lead to the publication of a book, the launch of a website and the organization of a traveling exhibition.
