PROJECT
The project aims to study “progress in the fight against corruption at national level.” This will be done by designing a measurement instrument that calculates the volume of corruption, what regions are involved and what levels of the administration it affects in particular. The result is an index of the annual extent of corruption that can be monitored.
This will improve our knowledge of the profile of corrupt individuals and help identify the relationship between corruption and organized crime.
The proposal states that “the current situation demands an urgent and rigorous approach to understand the phenomenon better” and to design “effective prevention measures.”
