Abel Paúl López de Viñaspre

Abel Paúl López de Viñaspre (Valladolid, 1984) is a composer whose production is characterized by the exploration of hybrid environments at the frontier between music and other artistic disciplines.

The project consists of the composition of a cycle of three works that explore sonic hybrids. The first is for saxophone and metal sheets; the second for cello and percussion, generating acoustic micro-spaces through loudspeakers; and the third, for violin, viola, cello, percussion and piano, projecting recordings of the spoken word over the geography of each instrument. The project also involves the organization of concerts to premiere the works.
